Feeder team to TUT Soshanguve South in the Tshwane SAB league gained promotion after winning the 2021/22 SOLFA  promotional playoffs. The Red Army defeated Mighty Killers FC 9-0 in their final game.

Team manager Mabunda Bungeni praised his players for their performances throughout the season. ” I am very proud or can I say we are very proud of, the boys did very well to gain promotion to the Super League”.

The newly crowned champs finished the season unbeaten at home collecting all maximum points. Mabunda revealed that allowing players to express themselves on the field of play was the secret behind their winning trumps. ” The secret was to make sure that we treat our players the same and have respect towards each other.

” We also gave every player a chance to show his skills when needed”.

He further emphasised how crucial winning all their home games was in winning the league and playoffs.

The team was forced to make a few tactical changes just before the start of the playoffs as some of the players were unavailable due to exams. Despite the challenges, Mabunda was pleased with the level of competitiveness shown by the team during the playoffs.

Asked about the club’s goals for next season in the super League Mabunda said,” Our goal is to make sure that our first season in the super League we finish inside the top 3″.

The team now shifts its focus in preparation for the upcoming 2022/23 SOLFA Super League season.
