Mamelodi ext 8 based side Family Boys FC needs sponsors. Currently competing in the Mamelodi Local Football association league , the club is faced with several challenges daily.
Most of the players in the team are without soccer boots and attending games becomes a difficulty due to lack of transport. Assistant coach Kgomotso Mokgadi opened up about the difficulties of running the team.
” The painful thing is that I have players who don’t have parents and depend on their grandmother ‘s pension and some of their parents don’t have jobs”.
Mokgadi believes that securing a sponsorship deal will help the club progress further. He further urged the community to get more involved in the club. ” There is no support from the community, the only support we get is from parents of the players”.
Family Boys FC dreams of playing in the Premier Soccer League and unearthing local talent to the world.
