Tuks ladies booked their spot in the 2022/23 following a 4-2 win on penalties against Lindelani ladies in the Sasol league national champs semi-final recently.
The game ended in a 1-1 draw inside 90 minutes of play. Both teams started the game cautious but it was Lindelani ladies who broke the deadlockinthe17th minute with Anele Mira’s well struck freekick on the edge of the box left the keeper withnochance.

Right after the goal, Lindelani ladies looked threatening upfront but Tuks’s ladies goalkeeper Sindiswa Duma was up to the task with a couple of good saves. Tuks ladies applied pressure in the last 15 minutes of the first half and were rewarded with an equalising goal on the stroke of halftime. It was Gugu Dhlamini’s solo run goal from the centreline that got Tuks back in the game.

The game finished 1-1 draw and it was penalties to decide the game. Tuks ladies converted four of their five penalty kicks to two of Lindelani ladies to book their spot in the 2022/23 Hollywoodbets super league. Coach Maude Khumalo credited the team for their never die attitude.
